Kailie Parrish is an award-winning interactive designer who helps brands share their story and leave a lasting impression on the web. Combining sharp systems thinking with beautiful visual aesthetics, she's designed websites for companies like Google, Patagonia, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and more.

Since joining Klarna in 2021, Kailie has been working on building a stellar design team to make Klarna’s web experience the best it can be. Before Klarna, she spent 4 years in San Francisco as an Associate Creative Director at Upperquad, Kailie moved to Berlin to start Upperquad's first international office in 2019. Before Upperquad, she was an Interactive/Brand Designer at Drexler. As both an individual contributor and creative lead, Kailie strives to make every digital experience meaningful and memorable.

Originally from Ohio, Kailie has made her way around the world, touching down in Maryland, California, Sweden, and now Germany. Since moving to Berlin, she’s added black to her wardrobe and added a few German phrases to her repertoire. In her free time, you can find Kailie at the nearest dog park or admiring everything at do you read me?!
